France League 1

France League 1 was one of the most entertaining competitions as over a long period of time this year we got a new champion and not only that, what also made the league more entertaining is the fact that the champion was availed from the last match.

Despite having quality players in the form of Neymar Junior,Kylian Mbappe,Marco Veratti,Angel Di Maria and squad depth as well Paris Saint Germain failed to retain the trophy making Lille take advantage of the same.

The monotony of only one team being crowned champions year in year out was broken this year as Paris Saint Germain became runners up behind Lille.

Lille were crowned championsafter cruising past Angers in their last game in a game which ended 2-1 in favour of Lille and this assured them of being the new champions in the French Ligue as they managed 83 points, one point behind their rivals Paris Saint Germain.
