The novel coronary virus is one of the viruses in the group of Coronary virus which is transmitted from animals to human.

The novel coronary virus was first reported on 31st December 2019 in Wuhan city in Hubei province China.

According to the WHO the situation is manageable and members of the public should remain calm and work jointly with authorities in fighting this deathly virus.

In an effort to fight this deathly disease from spreading, China government has shut down some cities to curb the spread. This has made people trapped in the city to lack basic needs and escalated food prices as they are scarce.

Some other countries including the United States, Brazil, Australia, New Zeland among others have evacuated their citizens from Wuhan City, China.

Some other nations like Kenya, who have its citizens trapped in the city have no plans from evacuating its citizens from the area. Sources have revealed that they have little infrastructure to handle the victim should they test positive of the virus.
